Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked Norbest turkey, cubed
  • 1 cup thinly sliced mushrooms
  • 1 avocado, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch cubes
  • 1/2 cup Italian dressing
  • 1 tomato, cut into 1/4-inch cubes
  • 1/2 tsp each salt and pepper
  • 4 oz cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 4 pita breads, cut in half
  • 1 cup alfalfa sprouts

Directions

Combine turkey, mushrooms, and avocado; fold in dressing. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour. Add tomato, salt, and pepper. In small bowl combine cream cheese and mayonnaise. Spread 1 Tbs cheese mixture into each pita half. Fill each half with 1/2 cup of turkey mixture and 1/4 cup sprouts.
